Cloud accounting systems provide businesses with enormous benefits compared to traditional desktop packages.
If you would like to find out more about how we can support your business with cloud accounting, speak to us today:
As a digital age firm, we support our clients in the transition from desktop accounting packages to cloud accounting packages to not only ensure they comply with the Making Tax Digital legislation, but to also reap the many benefits that cloud accounting can provide.
We are proud to be QuickBooks Online Platinum Partners but that doesn’t mean we just work with one accounting software; in addition to Quickbooks, Sage, Kashflow and Xero, we are very open minded to new developments and alternative software – so please just let us know if you have a preference and we’d be happy to look into it.
HMRC are introducing Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT Returns from April 2019. This means that digitally compliant software will be essential for VAT Registered businesses from that time. A cloud based product will therefore be a natural choice for many businesses, although those using desktop packages should contact their software provider to ask if the version of the software that they currently use will be able to meet the requirements of MTD.
We are working with all our clients to ensure that they are ready for MTD for VAT. Those choosing to move to a cloud product will not only be MTD ready, but are also able to take advantage of the great benefits that working with a cloud product brings.
