Dan Smith

I studied philosophy at the University of Lancaster and after failing to solve any of the major or minor mysteries of life (not even the one about where all the odd socks go) there followed several years of stacking shelves before returning to college.

I decided to begin a career in accountancy and studied for my AAT qualification. I have been working in practice since completing my studies.

When not at work, I like walking around the hills looking for spots that nobody goes to except me. My favourite walks are around the Colne Valley and Black Hill.

I like wrestling with my cat Ludwig, and pretty much anything geeky. Such as Discworld, Doctor Who, and Douglas Adams are at the top of the geek hierarchy.
