Pat Messenger
Pat's journey with Sheards began back in 1989. This was the year when the Berlin Wall came down, the first GPS satellite was put into orbit, and the first black governor in the US was elected! Pat has seen many changes over the years having stayed with the company ever since, and has overseen the evolution from manual cash book to cloud accounting.
Pat's job encompasses roles including account preparation for sole traders, partnerships and clubs, as well as VAT returns and book keeping.
On days off, Pat enjoys walking her dog Benji, and loves spending time with her friends and family. She has a passion for Italy, and loves to holiday in both the UK and abroad. This year she is going on a cruise to Iceland which she is looking forward to. Straight after work, Pat loves to put on her pyjamas, and relax for the evening, and well into the early hours. She is a night owl!
Mia Baptiste
With over a decade's worth of experience in the accountancy field, Mia brings her wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to clients on a 1-2-1 basis. This allows them to keep records, meet compliance requirements, and get meaningful figures from their day-to-day accounts. Mia is our Cloud Accounting manager, and provides information and training to our clients. She supports clients making the transition from manual accounting to cloud accounting, along with her team.
In her spare time, Mia devotes herself to volunteering, enjoys listening to Latino music, and is currently trying to learn Spanish!
