Last week we were delighted to announce that we had beaten our yearly fundraising record for our chosen charity of the year, Kirkwood Hospice.
Over the last 18 months, we have carried out a range of activities such as various business events, quiz nights and staff challenges in order to raise money for the Hospice, which supports people with life shortening conditions.
In just over a year the multiple events and fundraisers have raised a total of £13,283, which is our record fundraising total since we started forming charity partnerships.
When we first announced our partnership with Kirkwood Hospice, our goal was to raise £4,000 to go towards a pressure relief mattress - a vital piece of equipment to prevent patients developing pressure sores. Having gone beyond this, we are delighted that the Hospice are able to buy more pieces of equipment with the money raised which will benefit patients health.
