Our ever-popular Connection events are back for 2018 and our first free event of the year will be covering GDPR.
With GDPR coming into force in May 2018, it is of vital importance that business owners understand how it will impact various areas of their organisation.

The event will take place on Thursday 1st March at Lockwood RUFC and will cover four areas of business that GDPR will affect; IT, HR, Data Handling and Marketing.
Martin Page, Director of P2 Technologies, will be presenting a “Simple guide to IT security and GDPR”.
Sarah Edwards, Employment Law Advisor at Howarths, will be discussing the application of GDPR to the processing of employee data and compliance in the context of the employment relationship.
Mark Pullar from All My Systems will be covering how GDPR will affect data handling within businesses.
And finally, Katrina Cliffe, Managing Director of KC Communications, will provide a deeper understanding of how GDPR will impact on the success of lead generation and marketing campaigns; including data capture, security, email, SMS and direct mail campaigns and how these differ for B2B and B2C.
The event and will begin at 11:30 with an opportunity to network with other businesses. The session will start at 12pm and will finish with a Q&A.
