On Sunday 24th September, some of the Sheards team took part in the Colour Rush at Oakwell Hall Country Park - all in aid of our chosen charity, Kirkwood Hospice.
Carolyn, Matt, Joel, Amy, Mia, Chris and Jack donned their running gear and took part in the colourful 5k, which was sponsored by Schofield Sweeney.
We’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all those that sponsored us and helped us raise over £900 to go towards our fundraising total!
We announced our charity partnership with Kirkwood Hospice at the beginning of this year and we’re hoping to raise £4,100 which will go towards a piece of vital equipment for the in-patient unit from the Hospice’s Birthday Wish List.
The Hospice, who are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, provide free of charge, specialist care to adults across Kirklees who suffer from advanced or progressive illnesses.
